I am here to share my creations with you. I love making cards using rubber stamps. I also enjoy quilting whenever I get the chance. You can contact me by clicking on my profile, then you'll see my email. Thanks for visiting.
I've been married for 16yrs now on June 14th (Flag Day). I have 2 wonderful daughters ages 10 and 12. I'm originally from San Diego, I've been in Colorado for 12 yrs now. Love it, just miss the beach. I have a twin sister who's also into stamping and quilting. I've been stamping for over 14 years now. I'm also an avid quilter for 25yrs. My mom took my twin sister and I to our first quilting/sewing class when we were 18yrs old and I've been making quilts ever since. My other hobby besides crafting is being on our Harley with my husband.
I had a request to make a teapot card with the sentiment of Thinking of You. They also requested that I cut everything the same including the papers, die cuts so that way they could see if they could make a card just like this one. I used my new MFT Always Time For Tea Die Cuts for the teapot & the MFT Flourish Die Cut. I layered with a white paper doily & the decorative teapot paper is from DCWV Kitchen Matt Stack.
I've had several requests to make more cards using the Tattered Lace High Heel Shoe. I did all the layers using Georgia Pacific White card stock. I used Spellbinders Ovals & then ran the 1st panel through the Cuttlebug using the new folder by Lifestyle Crafts Bloom. The die is available now in the U.S., I received several of the dies from a friendly lady in the UK. I added flowers, die cut leaves plus pearls.
I wanted to play with my new Spellbinder Scallop Heart Dies. I used the Cuttlebug to cut the hearts, then ran them through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot Embossing Folder. I used the SU Framelits for the flowers & then ran them through the Lifestyles Craft Embossing Folder. I added pearls & used My Favorite Things for the leaves & the flourish. I used my sewing machine to stitch all around the edges & stamped the sentiment on the Spellbinder Oval. This was mailed to a lady who is ill & I never even met her.
I received some very lovely Tattered Lace Die Cuts in a swap on a Face Book card group. These came from a lady that lives in United Kingdom. She sent me male & female owls, umbrellas & these sexy high heel shoes. I used 3 layers of Georgia Pacific White Card Stock, used the SU ticket corner punch for all the corners & then used the Spellbinder Ovals to create the oval opening. I used the new embossing folder by Lifestyle Crafts. I added prima flowers from the dollar bin at Michaels then added pearls.
I made more mini owl cards to include in the packets of the Martha Stewart punched owls. I've have gotten so many requests from people all over the world to ask if I could punch a few owls for them. In return, some of them are sending other punched items too.
I decided to use my Martha Stewart Double Embossed Owl punch after owning it for 2 years or so. I offered on a Face Book card making group to punch a few owls for people, I think I punched out about 300 owls & still punching. I thought I would include a mini card using the owl punch. I've met (not actually met) from all over the world because these cute little owls. The card size is 2 3/4 x 2 3/4.
