Happy New Year everyone! I'm glad I stayed home, I got to play in the Inspiration Challenge. We were to chose something from the Neest site and I chose these pretty butterfly ACCESSORIES.
I made my card into a 5X7 card in order to use the big MS butterflies. The base is GP white cs as well as the 2nd layer. I stamped the butterflies with versa mark ink, used black embossing powder, then heat gun to set. I added a medium white adhesive pearl to each butterfly. I also stamped the sentiment with versa mark, black embossing powder & heat gun to set. I'm not sure why the sentiment looks crooked but that's how it came as part of the stamp.
Paper:GP White CS
Ink:Versa Mark Ink
Accessories:Heat Gun, Black embossing powder, adhesive white pearls
Stamps:Martha Stewart Butterflies Clear Stamps, Inkadinkable Clear Stamps

I thought I would combine the 2 challenges to make my co-worker a birthday card. The color challenge was to use Night of Navy, Old Olive, neutrals & Daffodil Delight. I didn't have the Daffodil Delight so I substituted the yellow cs.
I started with SU Old Olive cs as the base, layered with Bazzill Navy Blue cs & misc SU yellow cs. I ran the GP white cs through the CB Swiss Dot folder. I stamped the image with Night of Navy ink, used the piercing tool to make the holes in the top & bottom corners. I layered with the same colored cs. The Old Olive strip across the top is also ran through the CB Swiss Dot folder. I tied 2 navy blue organdy ribbons underneath the image panel. The image is raised using 3D dots. I then used the MS triple butterfly punch, then added a smaller butterfly with a small adhesive pearl for the center. I added 2 mini pearls on the navy flowers as well.
Stamps:Stampabilities Floral Silhouette 2
Ink:SU Night of Navy
Accessories: adhesive pearls, organdy ribbon, MS triple butterfly punch, CB Swiss Dot folder, 3D dots, SU Matt Stack, piercing tool

I've been wanting to try to make one of these cute little boxes. I used SU cardstocks & misc dps for the box. I used a border punch around the edges. I bought these cute little MS paper doilies with my 50% coupon, used a medium circle punch for the center then used the MS anywhere butterfly punch and the MS triple butterfly punch, then added small adhesive pearls. I tweaked the instructions a bit to make the lid fit better.
Here's the box TUTORIAL.
I found these key chains at Michaels for $.25 on the clearance rack. I decided to stamp the front with flowers. I did paper piecing for the flower pot. I colored with SU markers on GP white cs. If you want to change the picture, the frame easily pops out.
The stamps are from Fiskars Friendship Garden Clear Stamps
I found these key chains at Michaels for $.25 on the clearance rack. I decided to stamp the back with a sentiment using black stazont. I colored with SU markers on GP white cs. If you want to change the picture, the frame easily pops out.

I made this for a friend. I bought the composition book for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree. I used a variety of double sided dp, ribbon, Sizzix & MS Butterfly Punch. The sentiment Beautiful Blooms is an unknown $1 clear stamp. The little sentiment hardware on the bottom says "Forever Friends"
After making my regular size snowman candy bar wrappers, I wanted to try and make them using the mini Hershey Bars. I started out with 12 of them for $1.00, ended up making only 3 of them, somehow on my crafting table 8 of them were missing & I have a sneaky suspension that my daughters ate them.
This time, I cut a piece of 3.5 X 3.5 piece of GP white cs, taped the back with double sided tape. I drew the dotted eyes, buttons & mouth with a black sharpie pen. I used a q-tip to make the cheeks with SU rose romance. I also cut an orange triangle out of sparkled adhesive dp. I used scraps of homespun fabric for the hats & scares. I tied the hats with green wire and again with medium size hemp.

My daughter made a small holiday card for her teacher. She stamped the sentiment with black stazon, colored with markers on white cs. She then liked the idea of tilting the olive cs, added 3D dots underneath the white cs. She then added 3 lime green adhesive rhinestone to the top.
My 6yr old daughter wanted to make a holiday card by using the snowman I stamped after it ended up being to small for my card. I used 2way glue on the snowman, used SU flock. I then used 2way glue underneath the snowman, used Diamond Dust. Erin stamped snowflakes with versa mark ink on cream cs, then used silver beads in the centers. She drew the big black snowflake with a black sharpie pen and added a silver bead. I also drew the black lines on the bottom, used the 2way glue and then added glitter. She stamped the sentiment from the SU Frosty set with black stazon.
I got the idea of making this card by using a CD Sleeve from HERE, check out the tips & tricks section.
The CD sleeve is 5 X 5, the base of the card is 51/4 X 51/4 which is SU Real Red CS. I cut a piece of shimmery teal cs, 1/8" smaller than the CD sleeve so it fits nicely inside. I stamped snowflakes on the teal cs with tempting turquoise, then stamped the sentiment with black stazon. I also used the 2 way glue towards the bottom, then added Diamond Dust. I stamped the snowman with black stazon on GP white cs, used the 2 way glue pen on the snowman, then used the SU Flock for the body and colored with SU markers. I also drew a black line underneath the snowman with a black sharpie, again used the 2 way glue pen and added Diamond Dust, then I cut out the snowman. I attached a 3D square and stuck him on the circle. I used the 2 way glue pen again around the circle, then added Diamond Dust. I stamped a snowflake with SU tempting
turquoise and added a small red adhesive rhinestone to the center.
I had so much fun making these, it took about 15 minutes. I may sneak more CD sleeves out of my DH's computer supplies and put them into my stamping supplies....shhhh!
Paper:SU Real Red CS, shimmery teal cs
Accessories:CD Sleeve, scissors, diamond dust, 2 way glue pen, SU flock, adhesive rhinestone, SU markers

I thought these post it note covers were so cute from Kerry's Paper Crafts which is the same blog where I made my snowman candy bar wrappers from HERE she gives great instructions.
I used SU Rose Romance for the base, stamped randomly small flowers with SU Rose Romance ink. I layered with s strip of SU old olive cs. I then cut a small strip of teal adhesive cs, then used the MS border punch. I cut a strip of ribbon, wrapped around and met the end to the center of the front. I stamped the sentiment with SU Rose Romance ink of GP white cs, then used a small circle punch. I used a medium scallop circle punch of the teal adhesive cs, but didn't take off the sticky paper, instead I added a 3D square. It's hiding the seams from the ribbon. I used the MM corner rounder on the top as well as the bottom of the cover. I also scored the 2 lines for the post it notes could sit nicely. On the inside of the scored lines, I attached a piece of tacky tape, then adhered the post it note pad.
Accessories:Post It Notes, tacky tape, small circle punch, medium scallop circle punch, 3D square, ribbon, MS Score Board
Paper:SU Rose Romance CS, GP White CS, teal adhesive cs, SU Old Olive CS
Stamps:SU Mini Mates, unknown SU flower
I made my original in the F4A42 On The Fly challenge which you can see HERE, we were suppose to make a card in less than 15 minutes. I did that, so I decided to make 8 more using the circle punch within the red cs, then stamped the sentiment with black stazon so it shows through. I used different fabric red brads for the centers of the flowers. I stamped the flowers with versa mark ink on GP white cs. I used white embossing powder, then heat gun to set and cut the flowers. There's 2 flowers on each card.
Accessories:fabric brads, scissors, heat gun, white embossing powder, circle punch
Ink:Black stazon, Versa mark ink
Paper:GP white CS, SU Real Red CS
My girls wanted to make these for their teachers & each one for their special friends. They stamped the images with black stazon on the shrinky dinks paper, colored with markers...I helped them cut the shapes out, punch a small hole, tied a string then rolled them inside each ornament. I baked them in the oven at 325 degrees for 2.5 minutes. They added white snowflake stuff, I helped them again with tying the ribbons.
Accessories:Glass Ornaments, shrinky dink paper, oven, scissors, markers, snowflake stuff, string, ribbon, black stazon
I've been wanting to make these cute snowman candy bar wrappers for the longest time. I found a great tutorial at Kerry's Paper Crafts which is HERE.
All I did was print the snowman template on my ink jet printer using GP white cs. I used homespun fabrics for the hat & scarves. I tied green wire on the hat, then tied Christmas twine to cover the wire. To cute if you ask me. These will be for the guys in the receiving department, they are always helpful when I need it.
Thanks for the inspiration, I may make these my kids classes next season.
Paper:GP White CS
Accessories: Green wire, Christmas twine, template, homespun fabric, sewing machine, candy bars

I got my inspiration to use my Doodle This set from my dear friend Mary aka jandjccc CARD.
I used GP white cs as the base. I layered with SU Real Red cs, ran it through the CB Snowflake folder. I stamped the flower with versa mark ink onto GP white cs, used white embossing powder, then heat gun to set. I cut out 2 flowers, added a red fabric brad for the center attached it directly onto the red cs. I used a oblong punch onto GP white cs, stamped the sentiment with black stazon, added 2 mini red brads to each side, adhered with 3D dots.
Thanks Mary. It's almost 1:00am in the morning, my gosh even on a work night. I have everything cut to make 7 more and get them out.

Congratulations to Lisa aka LisaAdd for being Featured Stamper. I really wanted to make a card last night but I felt I needed Nyquil. Just been sick for the past 3 days.
I'm always drawn to fish cards so I chose this adorable fish CARD of Lisa's.
I made my card into a 4X4 card. I hand drawn the plants with a black fine sharpie pen. I stamped the fishes with black stazon on shimmery blue cs & and SU Real Red cs, cut out and adhered with a 3D dots. I tied a red ribbon across the top, tied a small knot then tied another piece of blue ribbon for the bow. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon, along with the heart hanging down. I colored the heart with a SU Real Red marker. I hand wrote the letter "A" because the little stamp was missing.
Things I changed: Fish, sentiment, size of card
Stamps:Sushi Bowl Party by Stampendous
Accessories:Black fine sharpie pen, scissors, 3D dots, red & blue ribbon, SU marker
Paper: GP white cs, shimmery blue cs, SU Real Red Cs

I wanted to make a simple holiday card, it didn't turn out that way, but at least I got 8 more cards done. The coloring took me the longest, overall I like the outcome. I used an old SU set which SCS doesn't even have it in the galleries.
I used SU blue cs as the base. I stamped the images with black stazon on GP white cs first, then cut the white cs to make a look like a hill of snow. I colored the images with SU markers. I used the 2 way glue under the trees and the snowman, then sprinkled Diamond Dust. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon, then colored with SU markers.
Paper:SU Bliss Blue, GP White CS
Stamps:SU Holiday Hello
Accessories: scissors, Diamond Dust, SU markers, scissors, 2 way glue

I wanted to try & make a Christmas vintage card using my new Flutter Anya from The Greeting Farm. I used SU creamy caramel as the base, sponged the edges with Tim Holtz brown distress ink. The spotted dp is My Mind's Eye as well as the small glittery piece with the flowers. I stamped postage lines with black stazon in random spaces on the dotted dp. I stamped the Flutter Anya with black stazon onto SU Creamy Caramel, colored her with SU markers, added tiny adhesive pearls to her dress. I used the 2 way glue on the tip of her wings, then sprinkled Diamond Dust to give her sparkles. I sponged around her with SU Sage Shadow ink and around the edges I sponged with the brown distress ink. I adhered a piece of cream lace towards the bottom, then wrapped a piece of red twine, then tied a bow onto the button. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon on SU Creamy Caramel cs, used the SU ticket corner punch and sponged the edges with brown distress ink. I added 2 small adhesive pearls to the top of the sentiment. I also added small adhesive pearls to the dotted dp. I added lite teal pearl brads to the centers of the flowers, then adhered them on the card with my hot glue gun. I sponged all edges of the dp's. On the light teal flower, I used the 2 way glue and added Diamond Dust too.
I'm beginning to like making vintage cards, this is my 2nd one.
This is the first time I've ever decorated the inside of a card. This is the inside of the Vintage Christmas card. I used My Mind's Eye for the dp's. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon on SU creamy caramel cs, sponged around the edges with Tim Holtz brown distress ink. I added a red flower with sparkles with a teal pearl brad.
This is for a friend who loves vintage cards.

Today's Featured Stamper was to create a card by picking a Featured Stamper that I haven't cased yet, at least I don't think I have. I chose this CARD by PickleTree back in 2008 she was Featured Stamper 59.
I started with SU Real CS as the base. I layered with GP White cs. I used the MS Lace Border Punch on the bottom of the white cs. I layered with Teal Textured CS, I ran the top part of the Teal CS with the CB Swiss Dot folder and the bottom I used the MS Lace Border Punch. I cut 3 strips of the GP white cs, used scissors to make the snow look hilly. I used my 2 way glue on the edges of the hills, then sprinkled Diamond Dust to give it sparkle. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon. I stamped the snowman with black stazon, colored with SU Markers, cut out and stuck him on with 3D dot, the bottom portion of the snowman is underneath the hill because he was to tall. I tied a red satin ribbon. I used my versa mark pen on the brad snowflakes, cut the prongs off and used silver embossing powder, then used the heat gun to set. The snowflakes are adhered with sticky Zots.
Things I changed: CB folder, omitted the MS snowflake punch for snowflake brads, satin ribbon
I've always was a big fan of PickleTree, thanks for the inspiration.
