I also used the CB Houndstooth folder on the white cs. I used a small square hole punch on a variety of black/white dp's. I also layered with SU basic black just on the bottom left corners of the small squares so it looks similar to the quilted blocks. I used a SU small circle punch on a variety of colored adhesive dp, tried to match as close as possible to the quilt. I centered the dots on each small square. I also used a SU tiny circle punch & the small SU circle punch on a variety of adhesive dp's for the outside of the quilt. The main panel is raised with 3D dots.

My 2 little girls are always playing dress up. They have a trunk full of dress up clothes, shoes & purses. I decided to make a dress card.
I traced the top of the dress onto hot pink felt. I had a little bit of white satin fabric and some tulle with silver sparkles on it so I gathered the 2 pieces with needle and thread. I adhered it with hot glue then attached the top to the skirt. I added silver adhesive beads to the top of the dress. I also stamped the sentiment which says "wish" with SU Pink Passion onto GP white cs, used the medium scallop punch, then adhered it to the silver decorative square. I added a silver star. This is for the HYCCT20 Sketch With A Twist. We had to make a card that had something to do with dancing also to follow the sketch. I have the HM ballerina stamp, but I found these cute ballerinas in my misc. stamps. I definately needed magnify glasses to color these girls, I even wore my glasses.
This card took longer than I wanted because I didn't have the proper tools to make the large circle so I found a circle chipboard coaster. I covered the back of the coaster with DCWV dp, then used the scallop scissors to cut around the circle. I stamped the image directly onto the chipboard, then colored with SU markres carefully. I sponged with SU Pretty In Pink, then stamped the sentiment with black stazon. I added a pink ribbon rose I found at the Dollar Tree (6/$1) in the wedding section. I layered with DCWV dp, the white dp has ballerina shoes, but you can't see them. I cut a strip of GP white cs, ran it the through the CB Swiss Dot folder and then added a pink MS border strip. I also added 3 small adhesive rhinestones to the bottom. The chipboard is attached with 3D circles.

I've been wanting to make my girls Halloween trick or treating bags for 3 wks now. I let them pick out their own fabric, so they picked Hello Kitty. I stitched their names on the handles so they won't get confused who's bag is who's. I took the day off work today, it only took 3hrs to make 2 bags. I lined the bag as well so it looked finished. No batting needed. I decided to tie different color ribbons to one of the handles to finish them off.
I can't wait to pick up the girls today at school to show them their new treat bags. All fabrics are 100% cotton. We can use them for years to come, until they grow out of Hello Kitty.

This is for the HYCCT18 Vintage Style. We needed to make a vintage card. I have to admit, this is out of my element and this is my 1st one. I found this great website for free vintage postcards you can download free which is HERE.
I printed the postcard onto SU Creamy Caramel cs after I decided what size I wanted. The base of the 5X5 card is also creamy caramel cs. I brushed the edges with Brown Distress Ink. I layered with SU Chocolate Chip, used the distressing tool for the edges. I layered again with SU Creamy Caramel and used the CB Script folder, then sponged over it with the Brown Distress Ink. I titled the postcard used 2 pieces of olive handmade papers underneath. I added a creamy string of squares and wrapped a piece of tan ribbon around the card. I also tied a gold key charm into the ribbon. I added mini gold adhesive beads to the bottom and the sides. I stopped at Michaels on the way home from work and found these red old fashion flowers. I used my hot glue gun to attach the flowers along with the gold large adhesive beads. I also added a gold dragonfly charm. I thought it needed something else, so I added the gold corner piece. I'm glad I was able to pull this together.
