I've been married for 16yrs now on June 14th (Flag Day). I have 2 wonderful daughters ages 10 and 12. I'm originally from San Diego, I've been in Colorado for 12 yrs now. Love it, just miss the beach. I have a twin sister who's also into stamping and quilting. I've been stamping for over 14 years now. I'm also an avid quilter for 25yrs. My mom took my twin sister and I to our first quilting/sewing class when we were 18yrs old and I've been making quilts ever since. My other hobby besides crafting is being on our Harley with my husband.
Today's inspiration challenge was to choose something from countryhomeliving.com so I chose a shower curtain as my inspiration. I started with GP white cs as the base. I then stamped the image with a versa mark ink pad, used black embossing powder and heat gun to set on GP white cs. I then used a versa mark ink pad for the bird, used mustard embossing powder and heat gun to set. I then added a black ribbon and a yellow ribbon and tied bows on the opposite colors. I'm going to send this to my mom who's 84yrs old and just had a shoulder replacement.

I've been trying to catch up on making my baby quilt projects. I need to make 6 more baby boy quilts, I've been slacking....but what I can I do, I work full-time, I have 2 young daughters who keep me busy plus a DH and of course stamping. I made this puppy baby quilt for a guy at work who recently had a baby boy this past November. This is called Trip Around The World.
