There's nothing like making a birthday card at the last minute when I knew the date 2 months ago. I started with chocolate chip cs as the base. I layered with bliss blue cs, used the CB distressed stripes and brushed timber brown stazon ink on the front as well as the edges. I then stamped the trees with timber brown stazon on mellow moss cs, sponged the edges and then used the distressing tool. I added a piece of brown ribbon and tied a bow. I stamped the elk with timber brown ink onto caramel cs and use used the distressing tool for the edges and sponged the edges too. I added 3 mini copper brads for the corners. I colored the image with primascolor watercolor pencils. I stamped the pine cone with the leaves onto mellow moss cs and used a medium circle punch as well a large circle punch. I then used the distressing tool around the edges. The circle is raised with a 3D square.
This was messy but worth it. He loved the card. It was for a good buddy at work who's always willing to go the extra mile for me.

For today's featured stamper who is Jaymerz, I cased her card, but changed the image and flipped the layout.
I used GP White cs as the base. I cut a strip of olive DCWV textured cs and ran it through the CB flower folder. I also cut a strip of polka dot purple dp and ran it through the CB Swiss dot folder. I layered both strips onto black Bazzil cs. I used black ribbon to hide the seam and tied a bow. I received this cute Nelli image from my pen pal (kittykat). I colored her with SU markers and BIC Mark It Markers. The image is stamped with black stazon on white cs and layered with black bazzil cs.
Stamps:Nelli (not sure of actual name)

I made these graduation invites for a co-worker who's son is graduating HS. She needed 48 of them. These took me 3 weeks to get done because I work full-time, have 2 daughters who keep me busy and DH....I pretty much made these when I got the chance at the midnight hours on a Saturday night. I didn't mind so much because when I do a big job like that, I listen to my Ipod. For some reason, it felt like I was never going to get these done. She was impressed on what design I came up with and I'm glad she liked them. We typed the words onto Excel and printed them on white cs at work. (shhhhh!)I made half with the orange base and the other half was made with the green base.

I guess it's better late than never. I needed to make a birthday card for a co-worker who's daughter will be 9yrs old. I started with pink bazzill cs as the base. I layered with olive bazzill cs and DCWV dp. I used the ticket corner punch on the dp and added pink self stick rhinestones to the corners. I also used olive bazzill as the one layer on top of the printed dp, I ran it through the CB Swiss Dot folder. I cut 2 small pieces of the pink bazzill cs, layered with DCWV dp and added ribbon to the layered strips. They are raised with 3D squares. The Nelli image was given to me by my pen pal Khara, she's such a sweetheart.
I colored her using my watercolor pencils with mineral spirits. I added a self stick lime rhinestone to one corner and added a felt flower in the other with a rhinestone for the center. The main panel is also raised using 3D squares. I hope he likes this for his daughter.
Thanks for looking.

We were to choose a card to case from the FS (sgtstamper) gallery.
Gosh, it's 2:15am and I'm uploading a card.
I started with Cameo Coral cs as the base. I then added chocolate chip as the background. I used the CB swirl folder on bazzill cream cs, cut into 3 separate pieces. I then cut some rubber bands and made a bundle, then I inked them onto Timber Brown stazon and rubbed lightly on the cream cs. I layered with cameo coral cs, bazzill cs and used the border punch on all the layers. I also used the CB swirl folder on chocolate chip cs and attached it to the border punch piece. I used self adhesive dp from Target for the first layer and added it the cream cs, then used the border punch for the top.
I stamped the bunnies with timber brown stazon on GP white cs, colored with BIC It markers, cut out and added liquid appliqué to the tails. I even cut the inside of the bunny ears so you can see the chocolate chip background. The bunnies are raised using 3D squares. I also stamped the phrase with the same color stazon on cream cs, added brown eyelets and ran the ribbon through. The phrase is also raised using 3D squares. I also used a mini heart punch from Michaels $1 bin and added three hearts to each side. I reversed the colors where the bunnies are sitting because I wanted to make them coral color.
I had to go in the other room and close the door to set the eyelets because it's so loud and everyone is sleeping.

We were to choose a card to case for the FS (Featured Stamper) Kelly H gallery.
I started with GP White cs as the base, ran it through the CB Swiss Dot folder. I tied a satin white ribbon. I had these pre-cut paper flowers with the tiny pearls already on the flowers from Target a long time ago, so I thought I would put them to good use. I also used the MS Branch punch on light teal dp. I used a large oval punch on light teal dp and used a medium oval punch on GP white cs. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon and added 2 mini teal brads to each side. The flowers and the oval is raised using 3D squares.

Accessories:CB Swiss Dot folder, large oval punch, medium oval punch, mini teal brads, 3D squares, pre-cut paper flowers with pearls, ribbon, MS Branch punch
The color challenge was to use Summer Sun, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. I was determined to get this card done tonight. I had to help with homework and such.
I started out by punching 9 squares with my medium square punch with 2 of the same color cs which are old olive, pumpkin pie and summer sun. I ran all the squares through the cuttlebug houndstooth folder so it would look like a quilt. I then put them randomly together onto white cs. The base of the card is DCWV pre-embossed card. I used a black sharpie for the criss cross lines between the squares.
I used my new butterfly punch and added 2 mini olive rhinestones for the body. I also added a piece of old olive cs underneath the butterfly so you can see the color. I stamped the flower with summer sun ink and stamped another flower onto whisper white cs, cut it out, used a 3D square. I used my new MS Button hole punch on pumpkin pie cs and stitched the holes with white embroidery floss....which is also raised with mini 3D dots. The stem and leaves were stamped in old olive and I stamped the leaves again, cut out and used 3D squares too. I used my new MS fence border punch on summer sun cs and glued to the bottom. I thought it needed a bird so I stamped the bird from Hero Arts onto the fence with black stazon and colored with BIC It markers. I also added the same color ribbons to the side of the frame and stamped the word "hello" with black stazon. The main image is raised using the 3D squares.

We were to choose a card to case from StampingQueenJar's amazing gallery at splitcoaststampers. She named her card "A Card For Connie"
What a perfect combination for me, my name is Connie and I work for a seafood distributor and I needed to make a birthday card for a co-worker.
I used GP white cs as the base. I layered with navy bazzill cs, ran it through the CB Swirl folder, used the ticket corner punch. I added navy blue dots to the white background with 4 med self stick pearls for the corners. I layered the 2nd layers with GP white cs with the same blue cs, then ran the CB Bubbles folder and again used the ticket corner punch and then added the blue dots. I stamped the fish with black stazon on GP white cs and colored with BIC It markers. I then added mini self stick pearls for the bubbles and hand wrote the sentiment "best fishes" and added a silver clip to the corner. I also layered with the same blue cs and used my white galaxy marker for the white dots. I tied a wired ribbon underneath.

We were supposed to pick something to case from glendamoshers blogspot with her outstanding paintings. I chose the painting with the tulips.
I started with Baroque Burgundy cs as the base. I sponged with Summer Sun, Only Orange and Baroque Burgundy ink all over the GP white cs. I then stamped itty bitty backgrounds with the Baroque Burgundy ink. I used various stem stamps from Springtime Stems and Watercolor Garden to stamp the stems and leaves with Old Olive ink. I then used Baroque Burgundy for the tulips, once on paper then on the stem. I went over again with the same ink but kept it darker. I then added a ribbon and tied a bow. This was a great challenge and it gave me the chance to bring out this old set.
Stamps:Itty Bitty Backgrounds, Terrific Tulips, Springtime Stems, Watercolor Garden
Paper:Baroque Burgundy, GP White cs
Ink:Summer Sun, Only Orange, Baroque Burgundy, Old Olive
We were suppose to choose an inspiration from the Etsy at littledaisydesigns.com and I chose the cute chocolate dress with butterflies, hearts and strips.
I used chocolate chip as the base of the dress. I then cut tiny colored stripes from DCWV striped dp, adhered to the shoulders and trimmed off the access. I then used the MS triple butterfly punch onto DCWV adhesive textured solid dp. I also used a mini heart punch on the same solid textured dp and randomly spread them out onto the dress. I decided to leave one wing down and one wing up, I thought if looked better this way. The only thing about this idea, it was time consuming trying to peel off the tiny butterflies and the hearts, but the outcome was good. There was no stamping on this dress.
Accessories:MS triple butterfly punch, mini heart punch, scissors
Paper:SU Chocolate Chip, pink, green, blue, orange and yellow DCWV adhesive solid textured dp, DCWV striped dp
I hadn't made a card all week and finally I decided to do the FS (Featured Stamper) who is justwritedesigns tonight. I enjoyed casing one of her cards.
I started with DCWV pre-embossed white cs as the base of the square card. I used DCWV 70% recycled dp as the second layer. I then used bazzill blue cs as the third layer. I used the large CB square onto the DCWV dp and made 9 large outlined squares. I also used the medium CB squares for the bazzill olive and the blue cs. I also used the CB Birds & Swirls folder on each small square. I went over all the birds with a paintbrush to brush white pigment ink on them. (It didn't come out as nice as hers did), I also added silver self adhesive beads to the swirls. All the squares are raised using 3D squares. I stamped the bird with black stazon on GP white cs. I also stamped it again twice, cut out and colored with my BIC It markers, used a 3D dot and again just cut out the wings and used another 3D dot. I sponged with CTMH blue jean ink for the background and stamped the phrase with black stazon. The main image is layered with the same 70% recycled dp and bazzill blue cs and is raised with 3D squares. I went around all the edges with the black ink pad. This ended up being messy, but I didn't want to start over.
