I needed to make a sympathy card for a friend of mine who's father passed away. It's always hard to make these kinds of cards, least she'll know that I'm thinking of her.
Accessories: CB Script folder, SU Matt Stack, SU markers, corner punch, mini brads, organdy ribbon, sponge, inkjet printer

This is a pond that my husband has built for one of his clients. The big rock on the left with the long hole will have water flowing down it at all times. He landscaped everything around the pond except for the grass. It looks pretty to me. Would be nice if they added fish too.
Thanks for stopping by.

I took this idea from Flyingace74 to make this envelope card. I was addicted, I made a few of them. I took a long envelope, folded both sides to meet in the center. I then colored with SU markers onto SU Because of You flowers random on the front of the envelope. I also used a large scallop punch on red bazill paper, a medium scallop punch on olive textured adhesive paper and then used a small circle punch on white cs and stamped the ladybug from SU Little Layers with black stazon and colored with my SU markers. I then added white dots around the red scallop circle using my white gel pen. I also added the sentiment on the bottom right corner with black stazon. On the inside of the envelope, it's like a pocket. I made a note card that's inserted with black bazill cs and white cs. I stamped the same ladybug on the note card and used the CM corner rounder. I added the other sentiment to the opening of the envelope. The base of the card is red bazill cs.

I totally cased this card from the SU Book a few years ago. I used real red cs as the base, then used cream and a small piece of black cs. I cut out the flowers and used pop dots to make them stand out. I stamped the flowers with black, real read and old olive for the leaves. I then ran thin wire across the small layers on the image and stamped with itty bitty background with black ink. I then stamped Thank You with black ink also. I gave this to a friend and framed it using a black frame with a black mat.
I made this quilt for my nephew last year for a wedding present. I used fabrics from Keepsake Quilting in the teals, browns & whites. The only layout I really liked for this particular quilt was the fields & furrows log cabin by Eleanor Burns, only because of the color. I think I made everyone in my family a quilt now, including nieces and nephews....my dad is always wanting a new one, he must have 4 that I made him throughout the years.
Thanks for looking.

I made this Winning Hand pattern by Eleanor Burns for my boss & his wife new baby girl. They wanted pinks, browns & whites so I figured this was the perfect choice. I started on this during the Memorial Day weekend and just finished it today. I took the picture of the quilt after I took it out of the wash, probably should of waited until I dried it....but that's ok.
Thanks for looking.
