I used celery cs as the base, GP white cs, more mustard & bliss blue cs for all the layers as well as the SU markers. I had drew the flag that the boy is holding, cut it out & wrote the words Birthday inside and is popped up using a 3D dot. I used DCWV Adhesive ribbon and ran a chipboard slider through it. I also used an oval punch and stamped Brodie (boys name) using $1 Target alphabet stamps. I stamped all images with basic black ink and hand drew the grass. This was fun, but time consuming.

This is for a co-worker who loves pizza. I thought I would make her a birthday card using this perfect image of the bear from Stampabilities. I used cream textured cs as the base. I layered with Bazill red cs, then DCWV dp and DCWV Nursery Rhyme dp. I stamped the image with black stazon on watercolor paper and colored with my primascolor pencils with baby oil. I distressed all edges of the papers and used a medium circle punch and glue the phrase "sending you birthday wishes" onto the circle. (My pen pal sent me the phrase with the circle punches, can't remember what the SU set is) I also added 4 red eyelets to the dp. On the inside of the card it says "take a bite out of life".

I made this for my pen pal on SCS, it's for her new granddaughter that's coming soon. The quilt is made using Tutti Fruiti Fabric which is also called Honeysuckle fabric. I used the pattern Trip Around The World from Eleanor Burns book. I even matched & pin pointed all the 4" corners. It measures about 45X45. I really enjoyed making this quilt for Marcine.

I started out using textured teal cs from the Paper Cut as the base. I ran the CB Swiss Dot Folder in the middle of the card. I ten layered with brown and DCWV dot dp and stamped the phrase on the dp with basic black ink. I then ran it through the CB Swiss Dot Folder also and tied a ribbon around it. I stamped the monkeys from Changito Pair Stamps and colored with SU Markers. I also added 3 different prima flowers and added a teal bling brad for the center..

I had to make a birthday card for a little girl who's having party at Cold Stone Ice Cream...I thought this would be perfect. I took the idea from Jenn D, changed it a bit.
I used more mustard as the base, then used the new DCWV Summer Pack DP. I layered with blue textured cs, more mustard and used SU matt stack for the holes around the mm cs. I used 3 different mini brads and stamped the words with $1 Michaels stamp. I also stamped the ice cream on white cs using basic black ink. I then colored with my SU markers and the image is raised with 2 3D circles and I tied a blue/white ribbon underneath.

I started out using DCWV yellow textured cs as the base, ran it through the Stylist Flower CB folder. I layered with mint green and dp and distressed around the edges, it's raised using 3D circles. I then stamped the flower with black stazon on 140lb watercolor paper. I colored with prismacolor watercolor pencils and baby oil and lightly sponged around the flower with yellow chalk and again distressed the edges. I also added a mint green wired ribbon w/yellow flowers and added a prima yellow flower w/a sparkle yellow brad for the center.
Happy Mother's Day.....
