I am here to share my creations with you. I love making cards using rubber stamps. I also enjoy quilting whenever I get the chance. You can contact me by clicking on my profile, then you'll see my email. Thanks for visiting.
I've been married for 16yrs now on June 14th (Flag Day). I have 2 wonderful daughters ages 9 and 10. I'm originally from San Diego, I've been in Colorado for 12 yrs now. Love it, just miss the beach. I have a twin sister who's also into stamping and quilting. I've been stamping for over 8 years now. I'm also an avid quilter for 25yrs. My mom took my twin sister and I to our first quilting/sewing class when we were 18yrs old and I've been making quilts ever since.
I made this using a lattice cut that I received from someone in a card making group on Face Book. We swap die cuts or punches. I used Spellbinders Oval Dies to create the oval, matted the lattice & made another cut matching the oval to have a clean finish on the inside. I used My Favorite Things Leaves dies & used the Stampin' Up Mixed Blossom Punch to create the rose. I punched out 5 flowers. I'm entering this over at http://scrapbookblessings.blogspot.com/2014/04/challenge-17-flower-power.html to make your flowers. All papers used is GP White Card Stock..
I got this idea from Pinterest so I thought I would try it & make my own changes. I added pearls after I used the hot glue on the chocolate rolos. I stamped the flowers twice in each color (front & back), then punched with the Stampin' Up Mixed Punch. I used green popsicle sticks & glued them to the flowers. The flowers are then poked into a styrofoam ball then added Easter grass. I thought it needed to have more chocolate so I put chocolate eggs around the flowers. I found some gold ribbon in my stash, tied a ribbon bow. I'm putting in the mini challenge called Anything Goes over at Scrapbook Blessings Challenge #16 http://scrapbookblessings.blogspot.com/2014/03/challenge-16-anything-goes-mini.html
I belong to several swap groups & I received several of these cute bunnies. The bunny is from Cricut Create A Critter. I bought a bag of double sided eggs cuts in the Easter section at Hobby Lobby. I snipped the grass & decided the bunny needed a flower.
I've been working on Easter cards these past few nights. I bought some Dollar Tree Embossed Sticker Eggs & decided to use them on a card. They are raised with 3D squares on the scallop circle die. I tied a ribbon, added pearl stick pens to make a quick card.
On the girl image, it's unfortunate that I don't know what the name of the image is as I received it in a image swap years ago plus I also received the embossed purple panel. I colored with the few Copic markers that I had. I made the rolled flowers with my new Pinwheel Flowers from Memory Box. The flourish is from My Favorite Things.
I received this cute chicken in the rainbow egg from one of my long time pen pals in card making. I used GP white card stock as the base. I then used yellow/white decorative paper, then stamped with white pigment ink on kraft card stock with flowers. I ran the purple strip through the Lifestyle Crafts Dot Embossing folder & stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink.
My 1st Easter card & I need to make more, this took longer than expected. I wanted to use my new tree die from Poppy Stamps called Viva Tree. I cut 2 trees in brown & the other in green, snipped off the leaves from the brown & adhered to the green tree. I added small red birds that I received in a die cut swap. I made the grass, added an embossed sticker egg from the Dollar Tree, small eggs from the Easter section at Hobby Lobby. I received these cute rabbits from a swap along with the fence. I tied DMC floss bows. I used the Flowers Swirl Cuttlebug folder for the panel.
I was experimenting using the Stampin' Up Bird Punch so I made tulips using the wings. I used the Cuttlebug Big Dot Embossing Folder on the white panel & SU Old Olive as the base then GP white card stock as the main card. I sponged each wing for the flowers & used 3 wings. I stamped the sentiment with white pigment ink on blue card stock & then punched it with an oblong punch. I used 2 different size ovals & a flower border punch for the the white panel. I entered this over at Scrapbook Blessing challenge to include a sentiment on the front of the card.
